Kilmacud Crokes are Dublin senior hurling champions after a commanding 11-point win over Cuala under the lights at Parnell Park.
Cuala arrived having dethroned holders Na Fianna in the semi-final, with an exciting young side led by forwards Liam Murphy and Conall O’Toole. But Crokes, the stronger team in recent seasons, kept the Dalkey men goalless and ran out 2-17 to 0-12 winners.
Referee Sean Stack took charge of the decider, which was shown live on RTÉ 2.
